NUP presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi has responded to President Museveni’s claim that NUP stole his votes in 2021, stating that the allegation underscores the importance of allowing people to safeguard their votes. Kyagulanyi urged his supporters to maintain at least 20 meters’ distance from polling stations, in accordance with the law. However, the Electoral Commission and government officials have warned that anyone remaining at a polling station after casting their vote will face arrest. Kyagulanyi made these comments during his campaign in Soroti City.
