This documentary was filmed entirely on the Nikon ZR full-frame cinema camera at Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Uganda, following rescued chimpanzees and the keepers who protect them.

I spent time with Dr. Joshua Rukundo and the team caring for 55 chimps on a 100-acre forested island in Lake Victoria. Many were rescued from pet trade or human-wildlife conflict. I share how the island is a second chance not just for the wildlife, but for humanity to restore balance with nature.
